I shall never
forget the sad day.
When our DS group went away.
I was still working
at Sandy Paws.
Mike called, then gave
a long pause.
Then he told me of the tragic
tale.
Our group was deleted by Yahell!
I became speechless for a
moment.
Then all I could do was begin to vent.
How could they do this awful
thing?
It's like preventing a songbird to sing.
All Dark Shadows fans need
company.
A place to fit in, to be a part of the family.
We tried to find out the reason
why,
Our group was deleted! But no reply.
All we knew was our SFDS
disappeared.
Where were we? Our friends were in fear!
Through posts and announcements,
And
many e-mail notices that were sent.
Dark Shadows friends were again
reunited.
And through thick and thin we have continued.
By sending e-mails we've stayed
together.
Exchanging jokes, updates and lots of chatter.
We've endured for
several months shy of 2 years.
With patience, loyalty, devotion, laughter and
tears.
We've worked so hard to make a new
start.
As Dark Shadows and friends are in our heart.
Soon we'll all be
talking about our favorite show.
On Mike and Jack's group, Immortal Dark
Shadows.
This poem is for all of you, even though
it's long.
But by staying together, we've become very strong.
Thank you
for everything you have all done thus far.
Without friendship, we would be a
Trek without a Star.
I know that 3 of
these pictures and the audio,
Come from Star Trek, another wonderful
show.
But just like ST, we'll always be immortal and true.
Because of our
dedication and friendships with you.
What I write in this poem is not an
understatement.
For all of you and Dark Shadow fans are
the firmament.
As you've helped
us with kindness throughout bad times.
Just like warm and soft breezes
make music in wind chimes.
Immortal Dark Shadows will soon be on
the horizon.
A place for us to have DS discussions,
laughter and fun.
I began this poem with, ....'I shall
never forget the sad day'.
Now all of my anger, sadness and despair
has gone far away.
